      Quick Facts About Dyslexia Games:

      • Dyslexia Games is based on the latest research about how visual thinkers learn.  (Most children with Dyslexia, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, and Autism are visual thinkers).
      • There are two unique series of Dyslexia Games workbooks.  Series A for children who read at a 1st grade level or lower, and Series B for children 8 or older, who can read at a 2nd grade level or higher.
      • Each series provides at least 180 activity pages.
      • Students need very little assistance to complete the activities.  The Games tap into the child's natural intuition and creative problem solving skills.
      • Children may complete the activities in-class or as homework.
      • Our worksheets offer the students a chance to exercise their minds, to be creative, and to make new neurological connections.  There is no need to "grade" the worksheets or point out mistakes, simply observe progress over time.
      • Dyslexia Games is available on a per-student per-year basis with classroom use pricing.
      • Physicians, Therapists, and Tutors can use Dyslexia Games through our Affiliate Program.

      "Hope and Encouragement"

      Picture
Recently, I was pleased to discover Dyslexia Games. They are an enchanting and innovative way to address the unique challenges kids with dyslexia and related difficulties face. These games are practical tools, but most important of all, they are fun!  Besides the games, the website is a source of hope and encouragement for parents of children with special needs."

How Dyslexia Game Therapy Reprograms the Brain:

The strategy of Dyslexia Games is to train the strongest areas of the child's mind to "take over the business" of reading, spelling and writing.

For most people with Dyslexia this means teaching the powerful right side of the brain to process written language successfully.  Most people use the left-brain to process language- therefore normal reading programs cater to the majority. The right and left sides of the brain work in different ways.  Dyslexics have very powerful right brains, we need to activate this part of the brain for reading and writing success. The left side of a Dyslexic persons brain is not wired to process language correctly, and it is failing to do the job well.  Our goal is to use creative games and puzzles to tap into the visual right-side of the brain and open up new pathways for learning.  Through Dyslexia Games we are able present reading in a context that Dyslexic children enjoy without frustration or confusion.

The games begin with art and patterns with unique symbols.  You will notice that our worksheets are fun, whimsical and playful.  The pages are include art games, pattern games and puzzles that require the child to tap into problem solving skills and natural intelligence. Over time, letters, words and numbers pop up within the patterns. Every 15 minute lesson builds upon the other and presents the child with new challenges.  Each workbook presents the student with increasingly challenging puzzles and pattern games, while introducing him to the complexities of the written language through word games and poetry.   At completion of the program the child's brain should be reprogrammed to process and decode written language with a whole new set of neurons, synapses and brain connections.

Parents Are Talking About the Impact of Dyslexia Games!

"My eleven year old daughter is almost finished with her first book in Series B.  Amazingly in the last few days she seems to read with less confusion, especially regarding mixing up the b’s and d’s.  I have to say this is an amazing result!"
      - Simon

"My 8 year old daughter has dyslexia.  She recently started her Dyslexia Games workbooks and LOVES them!  My son is 9, he's not dyslexic but he struggles with visual processing issues.  He also has Aspergers. He is doing the workbooks too and also loves them! They both feel that the games are challenging, yet fun and they do NOT complain at all about doing them which is a FIRST for both of them! Thank you!"
      - Stephanie

"My son absolutely loves Dyslexia Games!!!  He is so excited to do the worksheets.   I feel like they are teaching him the fine motor skills that he needs.  Having a diagnosis of Asperger’s Disorder was terrifying for us.  The inspiration you have shared with us has opened up a whole new world to my husband and I.  We look at things differently and I feel closer to the way our son sees the world.  For that I am forever grateful ."
